MATCH SCHEDULE IN THE CITY
Seattle is the largest city in the Pacific Northwest, with a Greater Seattle metro of about 4.1 million people. The city hosts six World Cup 2026 matches at Lumen Field (renamed Seattle Stadium, ~69,000 seats, opened 2002), home of the Seattle Seahawks (NFL) and Seattle Sounders FC, one of MLS's best-supported clubs with average attendance above 30,000. The stadium is known as one of the loudest in the world — crowd noise has been recorded by seismographs. This is Seattle's first World Cup. The main airport is Seattle-Tacoma (SEA), a hub for Alaska Airlines and Delta. June-July weather is mild and dry, 18-24 °C, the coolest of any US host city at the tournament.
