What this is
An encyclopedia-style site for fans who want to live the tournament rather than just track scores. Each page has stadium photos, country flags, capacity, coordinates, match schedule, and historical context — in three languages.
Three languages, one domain
The site runs on a single root domain with language versions split into subdirectories /ru, /uk, /en. All content authority (backlinks, mentions) consolidates on one root — better for SEO, single SSL, single deploy.
Data sources
All data comes from open sources under compatible licenses:
- 📦 Wikidata — team, city, stadium names in three languages, coordinates, capacity
- 📷 Wikimedia Commons — stadium photos and significant objects under Creative Commons and public domain licenses
- ⚽ football-data.org — match schedule, tournament data (free tier)
