LEVI'S STADIUM

Opened in 2014 in Santa Clara, at the southern end of the San Francisco Bay Area. Home to the San Francisco 49ers (NFL). Permanent capacity sits around 68,500. The stadium has an asymmetric build: a covered multi-tier west side packed with suites faces an open single-deck east stand that gives a clear view of the Santa Cruz Mountains. A rooftop garden above the upper deck makes it one of the most environmentally certified venues in the NFL. The stadium has hosted Super Bowl 50 (2016), a College Football Playoff National Championship, and matches at Copa America Centenario. At the 2026 World Cup it stages six matches: five group games and a Round of 32 tie. It operates as San Francisco Bay Area Stadium during the tournament.
