About the stadium
Opened in May 2002, replacing the adjacent Foxboro Stadium. Located in Foxborough, about an hour south of Boston. Home to the New England Patriots (NFL) and the New England Revolution (MLS). Permanent capacity sits around 65,000. A glass lighthouse tower above the south end has become the stadium's visual signature. It has hosted six Concacaf Gold Cup matches and recurring international friendlies. At the 2026 World Cup it stages seven matches: five group games, a Round of 32, and a quarterfinal on July 9. The venue operates as Boston Stadium during the tournament under FIFA's neutral-naming rule.
